Drew Burk: The objective of Pata-Thought is to provide a space for flushing out, thinking, and creating the imaginary architectures of the coming digital culture. We recognize that in our headlong rush into the future-present, it is necessary to think a thought-process that is congenial to the dromosphere (Virilio) which would perhaps allow us to provide a heuretics (an ethico-poetics which requires invention). It is our hope that this space will provide a platform to think at light-speed and upgrade the creative impulses that began with Alfred Jarry’s invention of ‘pataphysics and continued on with the Surrealists.
